Michael D. Calabrese, M.D.

Michael D. Calabrese, M.D., a Buffalo native, has been practicing medicine in the Western New York area for over 30 years. He began his medical education at the Universidad Autonomous of Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico and completed his medical school career at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. After his graduation, Dr. Calabrese completed a rotating internship in cardiology, surgery, internal medicine and pediatrics at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis.


Lisa Achtziger, CMOM

Lisa Achtziger received her Associate Degree from Hilbert College and her B.S. in Business Administration from Buffalo State College. She is a Certified Medical Office Manager and Notary Public. Ms. Achtziger has worked with Dr. Calabrese’s practice for over 25 years and has been with Medical Care of WNY since its inception. Lisa is an avid supporter of literacy and the American Cancer Society, and frequently participates in 5k races for various causes.


Meggan Shea, FNP-BC

Meggan Shea is a board certified family nurse practitioner and has been part of the Medical Care of WNY team since 2012. Meggan studied biology at the University of California before receiving her bachelors in nursing degree from D’Youville College in 2008, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Margaret P. Jill Galley, RPA-C

Jill Galley is a certified Physician Assistant and has been a member of the Medical Care of WNY team since 2013. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from D’Youville College earning a Masters and Bachelors of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed in the State of New York. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Western New York Physician Assistant Association (WNYPAA). Her clinical experience includes: family practice, internal medicine, gynecology, orthopedics, colorectal surgery, dermatology, psychiatry and radiology.


Amanda L. Coates, RPA-C

Amanda L. Coates is a licensed Physician Assistant who joined the Medical Care of WNY team in 2015. Born in Buffalo, Amanda earned her Masters as a Physician Assistant from D’Youville College in 2013, where she graduated Cum Laude. She received special recognition and was awarded for her research and clinical focus in women’s health.

Patrick Crangle

Patrick J. Crangle PT, DPT

Patrick graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from D’Youville College in 2010 and continued his education at D’Youville College earning him his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. Patrick has experience in a school based pediatric therapy setting, treating children with developmental disabilities as well as experience in acute and sub-acute settings. He has worked at ECMC treating patients with a wide range of diagnoses and co-morbidities. He has also worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics treating post-op patients recovering from RTC, TKA, THA, ORIF. Patrick loves the physical therapy field gets the utmost satisfaction helping patients return to their previous level of function.

PT 2

Gregg Strobino PT, MS

Greg received his Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in 1986. After practicing acute care therapy for a few years, Gregg decided to return to school where he received his Advanced Masters Degree in orthopedic physical therapy from Daemen College.

Greg has 30 years experience in outpatient orthopedic care, acute care, long term care (geriatric), vestibular rehab, work hardening, wound care, and work place ergonomic assessment. Gregg chose physical therapy as his career path because it allows him the opportunity to work with patients directly and help them as they regain their health and quality of life.

PT 3

Marc Flierl PT, DPT

Marc earned his Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo in 2009. He then attended school at D’Youville College earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. His experience includes the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Marc loves the satisfaction of helping people return to their lives, jobs and recreational activities after injuries, surgeries or accidents.
